Hithering Haverer - A1

I’m a Hithering Haverer
disguised as a Pop Culture Vagabond,
banned from the Wikipedia rabbit hole.
Not just too cool for school,
but too hip for hip hop.

I brew nonsense by day
and cultures by night,
chasing down rabbit holes
just to see where they might bite.

I collect strange little facts
that nobody asked me for,
then kick open another door
to see what’s hiding behind.

I’m a Hithering Haverer,
a wanderer of the weird,
where curiosity gets louder
and common sense disappears.

I’m Peter Cottontail
with a Pooh-brained point of view,
cloud-hopping through the afternoon
with nothing better to do.

Some people sit beside streams,
I dive into streams of thought,
a thousand little Einstein worms
launched to wander wonder in my head,
chasing down every notion
till a basketful of thoughts
pitches me into a brand-new brew.

Then I sip that strange concoction
and wonder what I’ve made,
a little bit of genius,
a little lemonade.

One thought becomes a question,
one question splits in two,
then suddenly I’m researching
why the sky is turning blue.

I’ve got facts without a purpose,
and theories without a plan,
I’ll connect a Roman emperor
to a Saturday Night Live man.

I’ll wander through the decades,
from Shakespeare to MTV,
take a left at ancient Egypt
and end up somewhere weirdly me.

I’m a Hithering Haverer,
I’m hithering all the way,
haverin’ about tomorrow
and what I learned today.

I don’t need a destination,
I don’t need a master plan,
just give me one good rabbit hole
and watch me disappear again.

I’m a Hithering Haverer,
disguised as who-knows-what,
a Pop Culture Vagabond
with a brain that won’t sit still.

I brew nonsense by day,
I brew cultures by night,
and somewhere in between them
I usually get delight.

So if you see me wandering,
with that faraway stare,
I’m probably chasing something
that isn’t even there.

I’m a Hithering Haverer—
and happily I’ll remain,
wandering through wonder
like a madman in the rain.

No map, no route, no reason,
no finish line in sight—
just one more strange idea
to keep me up tonight.
